Robusty

Team & Roles

Invite members and manage access to a project.

Access in Robusty is scoped per project. Every project has its own list of members, and each member holds one of two roles — admin or editor. When you create a project you become its first admin automatically. Admins can then invite other people and decide what each of them can do.

Roles

There are exactly two roles. Both give full access to day-to-day testing work; they differ only in who can administer the project itself.

Editors can do everything involved in writing and running tests. Admin rights cover project-level administration: settings, members, tokens, billing, and deletion.

Manage members

Members are managed from project settings.

  1. Open your project and go to Settings.
  2. Find the Members card. It lists every current member with their email and role, and your own row is tagged You.
  3. Change a member's role or remove them.

Invite a member

In the Members card, use the row at the bottom:

  1. Enter the person's email address.
  2. Pick a role — Editor (the default) or Admin.
  3. Click Add.

Robusty emails the person an invitation with a link to the project. If the invited address doesn't have a Robusty account yet, the invitation is still recorded. Their membership activates and links to their account automatically the first time they sign up with that same email — no need to re-invite them.

The last admin

A project must always keep at least one admin. Robusty blocks the two actions that would leave it with none:

  • You can't remove the last remaining admin.
  • You can't demote the last remaining admin to editor.

To hand a project to someone else, promote them to admin first, then have them change or remove your role.
